Montagne du Parc

The project was executed in cooperation with styfhals architecten bv nv and Jaspers-Eyers Architects. The remit was to reposition the BNP Paribas Fortis HQ building in terms of planning, design and infrastructure as well as creating references to the urban context. The structure is sheathed in an iridescent load-bearing façade with 300 columns that tames its imposing stature. The idea of a “town house” continues in the design of new pedestrian areas, a public courtyard and a green roof. The quest for sustainability takes into account aesthetic, cultural, structural and energy-related factors. The building improves its surroundings and provides excellent working conditions for staff.
